Plot[]
Kengo ponders on Kokon's words regarding their love affair, he thinks to himself that all of his efforts have been focused on getting Kokon's attention. As he dwells on the matter, he feels his head is going to explode. Suddenly, Kokon turns around, stating that there is one more matter she would like to discuss and whether they can discuss it at that moment. Kengo wonders if she is asking him out on a date, only for Kokon to talk about work instead.
The two head to a nearby park and Kokon directly asks if Seki is Kengo's client. Kengo refuses to answer as it would breach client confidentiality. Kokon subsequently reminds him that they are from the same agency and things would go a lot smoother if he just shares information. Kokon shares that her client is in fact Mari and her target is Seki. Kengo is shocked upon hearing this, and Kokon explains that she was surprised as well. Overall, there was mutual love between them from the start, but things got complicated because Seki pretended to be an introvert. Kengo argues that it was due to Seki acting in such a way that got Mari interested, and this in turn led to Mari hiring Kokon.
Kokon observed that Mari and Seki's relationship seems to have improved while she was away in the Arctic, but Kengo believes that is because his gentleman strategy is working. After spending time with Seki, he noticed several of Seki's positive attributes, which Seki himself does not realize. However, Kengo cannot directly tell Mari these attributes, which is why he has been carefully tempting Mari with them. Kokon acknowledges that he has done a good job and since their goals are now aligned, she proposes that they form a business partnership. The matter at hand is Mari's peculiarity: her fear and inability to trust men. Nonetheless, if they were to work together, there is a good chance that they can get their relationship off the ground. After contemplating the idea for a brief moment, Kengo agrees to the proposal and the two shake hands. Kokon cheekily asks if he is glad to touch her hand, and an embarrassed Kengo replied it is perhaps best to cut out the teasing. He wonders what kind of strategy to adopt but Kokon has something in mind.
The next day, Seki and Mari are stunned at what they are seeing, Kengo and Kokon have come to see them, affectionate with each other. As Seki and Mari talk among themselves, he notes that Kengo and Kokon have progressed further along than expected, while Mari is surprised by this turn of events. Kokon then thanks the two for helping her and Kengo come together and invites them on a double date. Kokon knows Mari is weak when pushed, and there are two of them piling on the pressure here. Seki has no problem agreeing to it and giving into the pressure, Mari agrees as well. Kokon rationalizes in her mind, everyone has their preference and circumstances, but love is not logical, and it is up to Seki to prove it.
