Plot[]

Kengo has diligently kept up with his exercise and dietary regime and so far, he has lost 6 kilograms 20 days into the summer vacation. On this day, Mari and Seki have come to check on his progress. Seki remarks that he might lose up to 10 kilograms at the end of the summer if he keeps it up, but Kengo states the challenge starts here. He plans to incorporate mini-fasting with the aim of losing 15 kilograms at the end of the summer, even if it comes at the cost of losing some muscle. Seki believes it is impossible for Kengo to lose another 10 kilograms, while Mari finds his enthusiasm inspiring but believes that losing another 10 kilograms would be tough. In response, Kengo proposes to make the day a cheat day, a day where he gets to indulge as much as he wants. Mari favors this suggestion as a reward and after a moment of consideration, Seki agrees to it as well. As Kengo contemplates his options, he ultimately settles on rice. Mari asks if he would rather opt for more elaborate dishes, but Seki simply goes along with the decision.

The trio head to the home economics room and Seki prepares the meal. Even though Kengo only requested rice, he has brought something to go along with the rice, namely nametake and nori tsukudani. As Kengo revels himself with the meal, Mari also casually tries out some of his cooking as well. Seki further complements the meal with an offer of miso soup. Mari then brings out furikake but is told that is different, in turn, Seki stirs fried radish leaves to go with the furikake. Kengo enjoys the combination very much, but Mari is still confused about the difference, and she brings out Ochazuke, only to be told that it's different again. Mari then brings out eggs for egg over rice, but when she brings out truffle soy sauce to pair with it, she is told that it is different. Seki then offers him regular soy sauce for it. Kengo has his fill and thanks the two.

For the rest of the summer vacation, Kengo returns to his exercise regime. At the end of it, he successfully loses 15 kilograms, just in time for Kokon, who has just returned, to see the results.
