Seductress (タラシ Tarashi) is the twenty-second chapter of the manga series Renai Daikou, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Nishizawa 5mm. It was released in issue #1, 2024 of Weekly Young Jump on December 7, 2024. [1]
Plot[]
Seki and his friends discuss the girl they met yesterday. She left such an impression on them that one of them wished he had exchanged contacts with her, which Tesshi discloses that he did. He then reveals that the girl's name is Kokon Aikawa or simply Kon on Line. Seki then requests that Tesshi follow her contacts, explaining that he found her salary in her puppet. Tesshi asks if he can be the one to deliver her salary, and Seki remarks that his friend is just trying to find excuses to see her. Tesshi admits that he is starting to like her, and he warns Seki to be careful.
Later, Seki returns Kokon's salary, and she is over the moon. He remarks that she should receive them through direct deposit going forward, believing that she got cash because she works at some kind of shady café. She explains that she does honest work and makes her request to be paid in cash. Nonetheless, she offers him a treat, which he declines at first, but she tells him about the 5% finder's fee and asks if there is anything he would like.
Kokon finds his request rather strange: a Teriyaki burger from MOS Burger. Much to her surprise, it tastes delicious. As he explains the Teriyaki burger, she begins to move closer, which Seki remarks on. Kokon apologizes, explaining it's an old habit, prompting Seki to believe she works night jobs. Kokon apologizes, saying she cannot help it; she wants to be loved, but her actions led to her being shunned by females, and over time, the males would come to hate her as well. So even if she seems to be trying to seduce him, she is doing it without romantic intentions.
Seki responds that her actions do not seem to affect him since he already has someone in mind. Kokon is glad, but as she leans in even further, she slaps herself, leaving a shocked Seki to call out her stupid behaviors. A short distance away, Kengo comes across the two.
