Plot[]
Having seen the "real" Seki, Mari has disappeared from the library and not read any of his messages. Kengo approaches Seki in the library, noting that he has stopped wearing his glasses. Seki responds that it feels pointless at this point and asks about Kengo being a student at the same school. Kengo explains that it would have been hard to trust an expert who turns out to be a student. However, he has been performing well, but Seki disagrees with the assessment, questioning how he came to be an expert.
Kengo explains that he is an expert because he has experience with true love. He fell in love with a girl with whom he had absolutely no chance, so he researched women, love, and rejection. Seki then interrupts, asking if he succeeded in his pursuit, to which Kengo says it's still in progress. Kengo then asks who would be more insightful in love, someone popular and handsome or someone ugly and hopelessly in love? He even offers to let Seki transfer to another agent if he is considered to be no longer reliable.
However, Seki has no intention of switching agents, after all Kengo has managed to keep things going smoothly so far. Kengo then makes a grand gesture and renews his pledge to help Seki's pursuit of Mari. Kengo then takes his leave but runs into Mari as soon as he opens the door. Instead of her regular hairstyle, Mari has tied her hair in a ponytail and being more cheerful than usual. After a brief conversation, Mari leaves, leaving Kengo confused and Seki angry with how close he seems to be with Mari.
Elsewhere, Mari goes on her phone to speak with Kon. Mari is very excited about how her conversation with Kengo went, but Kon is dreading the fact that she was forced to flirt with her adversary. Kon tries to steer the conversation back towards Seki, but Mari brushes it aside and asks her to continue being her agent. Kon attempts to change her mind, but to no avail.
